Year 6 Children
Our Aim
Lifeskills aims to show pupils that they should be taking personal responsibility for their own safety. Children learn how to assess risk and cope with difficult situations by taking part in realisitic, interactive activities.
Who We Educate?
The Children’s Programme has been developed specifically for Year 6 Primary School children (10-11 years of age).
How is the Programme Taught
Volunteer Guides take small groups of children around our realistic "village" to experience a number of difficult or dangerous situations. Children must work together to decide how to overcome each problem and have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes in a safe environment.
Session Details
Lifeskills can accommodate a maximum of 60 children per session. There is no charge for any accompanying adults. You will need to arrange and pay for your own transport.
Sessions run from 9:45am-12pm and 12:45pm-3pm. Please arrive at the Centre 10 minutes before the session starts.
