This week, we were delighted to welcome members of the Network Rail team to Lifeskills, where they joined our dedicated volunteers to help deliver engaging, real-world lessons on rail safety.
Their visit brought our railway safety scenario to life, giving children the chance to learn directly from professionals working on the rail network. Through practical guidance and meaningful discussions, pupils left with a better understanding of how to stay safe near trains and tracks.
Network Rail’s support goes far beyond the classroom. By sponsoring this key part of our safety programme, they help ensure that essential rail safety education reaches some of the most vulnerable children in our community.
As we mark Rail Safety Week, we’re especially grateful for their continued partnership. Together, we’re helping to inform, empower and protect the next generation.
