PCSOs join Charlton Wood Primary for Lifeskills Visit

Home About us News PCSOs join Charlton Wood Primary for Lifeskills Visit

A big thank you to PCSOs Chantel Knowlson and Gareth Pretlove from the Patchway Neighbourhood Policing Team for their support at Charlton Wood Primary School. Their visit was engaging and informative, giving the children a great opportunity to learn more about policing and community safety.

The session ended with a lively Q&A, where pupils asked plenty of questions and enjoyed getting involved. It was a wonderful chance for the children to engage directly with local officers and learn about their roles in the community.

Chantel shared, “We were very impressed with the set-up of the scenarios and felt it engaged the children and gave them a full hands-on experience of each life skill demonstrated. It was our first visit and we will definitely be back!”

We appreciate the time and effort PCSOs Knowlson and Pretlove put into making the visit both educational and enjoyable. It’s clear that their presence made a positive impact, and we look forward to more opportunities like this to strengthen the connection between the police and our young people.

Thank you again for your invaluable support!
