This May Half Term, families from Bristol and surrounding areas are invited to a special Open Day at Lifeskills. This will be a rare chance to step inside its unique indoor safety village and experience how vital life skills are taught in a fun, engaging way.
Visitors will be able to explore a range of realistic, immersive scenarios designed to teach children and young people how to stay safe in everyday situations. From fire safety to road awareness, the centre brings learning to life through hands-on, interactive activities that the whole family can enjoy together.
Lifeskills Manager, Gemma Graville, said: “This year’s Open Day is especially exciting for us as we’re launching a new electrical fire safety scenario, developed with the support of Electrical Safety First. Visitors will be among the first to experience it while learning about electrical hazards in the home.”
There will also be a range of stalls run by partner organisations, offering activities, information and giveaways.
The open day is not only a fantastic family day out but also an opportunity to learn more about the impact of Lifeskills’ work in the community. Visitors interested in volunteering or supporting the charity can find out more about getting involved.
With plenty to see, do and discover, the Lifeskills Open Day will be memorable experience for all ages.
